Woke up late this morning so breakfast was not happening... opened the fridge and found some string cheese and decided I could eat that on the way to work. I had plenty of points needless to say since breakfast didn't contain much. I made a really awesome Chicken Tortilla soup from Hungry Girls cookbook. I also made a healthy BLT made with turkey bacon and 45 calorie bread, Very Yummy!
I just got home from the gym, there were about 3 times as many people there as usual. Mostly because everyone goes the first week or two of January for their "New Years Resolution." As I looked around I thought to myself, "how many of these people will really be here a month from now?" Then I realized the only person that matters is me, not because I'm selfish but because my body needs me to be dedicated to it and it alone! Getting healthy is a personal choice and you have to be ready to make the commitment. Losing Weight is more mental than physical, in my opinion. You have to be dedicated to going to the gym and choosing the right food. Yea those nachos may look good now but after you eat them you will probably feel guilty for doing it and possibly get a upset stomach. The sensation for "unhealthy food" only last for a few minutes so if you can fight it you will succeed, and feel so much better for doing it! Well that is my post for tonight.... Hope my sisters are staying strong on their journal! Good night all!!
